All of our doctors and staff members volunteer to provide the highest quality dental care to the underserved children in our community and in other places where we are called. Some ways we care for children and those with special needs are included in the following list:

Pediatric Dental Care for the Forsyth County Head Start Program
“Give Kids a Smile” Program begun by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and supported by the NC Dental Society
Members of the Community Partnership for Dental Health (which has helped many non-profit clinics provide dental care to all ages)
Career Day Speakers in our Local Schools
Health Fair Educators
Guest Lecturers for New Parents, Dental Hygienists and Assistants
Mission Trips providing Dental Treatment in Jamaica, Haiti, Costa Rica and The Dominican Republic as well as here for Belarus children
Indian Health Service Dental Care via the Federal Public Health System
Toys for Tots Collection Site and Donors
Forsyth County Dental Society’s February “Children’s Dental Health Month”
Juvenile Diabetes Bike-a-thon
Brenner Children’s Hospital fundraisers and tree decorators
Mentors to young people interested in dentistry who wish to observe in our pediatric dental office (many have gone on to a career in dentistry)
Preschool and Elementary School Dental Identification Programs
A “Safe Place” for any child who needs help
Pediatric Dental Office Tours
Volunteers in the Forsyth County schools and many schools in surrounding counties while serving on PTA and in the classrooms as well as helping with various fundraising for schools and extracurricular activities.
